Ruby Morales

Research Associate

Ruby started her career in public health administration at UW Medicine (University of Washington, Seattle) where she first developed an interest in research and information services working as a research coordinator for academic medical professionals engaged in primary research. 

Ruby continued to expand her experience working in information and project management roles, most recently at Meta Platform Technologies and Microsoft.  Ruby is also a fan of street and event photography, attending music performances, creating art in a variety of media and other design disciplines.  

Ruby grew up in Seattle and continues to live in the greater Seattle area.  Ruby’s family founded downtown Seattle’s famous Mama’s Mexican Kitchen, and she is a descendant of its namesake Esther “Mama,” a native of New Mexico circa 1900.  A first-generation college graduate, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College and a Master’s of Library and Information Science from the UW Information School.
